ED Treatment: Venous surgery
The procedure of surgery on the veins includes binding penile vessels that are leaking to increase or bring back penile rigidity. While arteries carry blood to the penis to create an erection, veins play a significant role of draining used blood and other cell cycle waste products from the male organ. A leak or blockage in one of the veins that provide this service to the penis may cause blood flow to exhibit abnormal behavior and lead to erection problems.
For sufficient firmness to occur during sex (from initial stimulation to the succeeding rounds, until both are satisfied), arterial blood flow and subsequent venous drainage must happen. Leaky veins may cause more serious problems, particularly in erection achievement. A leak or insufficient tenacity of the venous flow may prevent arterial blood from staying in the penis long enough to sustain an erection.
At the same time, too much tightness in veins will extend the erection and not drain the blood as well as the other toxic byproducts of the cell exchanges and processes in the penis. Extended erections cause pain, and in the most extreme cases, permanent penis injury.
As with any other surgery, there are risks and problems that may arise. It will take some time to recuperate fully from a surgical operation, during which the man and the woman cannot be intimate. Even slight erections during the time of recuperation could lead to more harm, and so, appropriate (enforced) celibacy must be observed.
The key to recovering from erection disorder after the treatment of choice is to stick by the recommended regimen faithfully. Men who find surgery too risky may also opt to take sex enhancing drugs like Viagra, or some organic alternatives (Herbal V). A few other ways to increase sexual activity by enhancing erection include exercise and regular visits to a urologist to diagnose underlying causes of erectile dysfunction.
