Believe it or not but a 53 year man from peru had erection for 8 days and he had to go to Hospital after having sever pain. According to Health24.com patient did not used any sexual stimulant or alcohol.

I was bit more interested to know about priapism, and googled it.
Priaprism is a painful condition in which erect penis does not return to is flaccid state, despite the absence of stimulation. This could make a bloog clot that retain in the penis and potentially cause damages to blood vessels of the penis and result in erectile dysfunction. (source wikipedia.)

Men with more than 4 hours erection should immediatly take advice of a doctor and treated as emergency. Well it was something new to know, and I had never heard of so long erections.

What is priapism? It is a rare condition in men that is characterized by an erection that will not go away, even when you don’t want it anymore. This is often painful and lasting.
